Become a key part of Visy’s Tumut Paper Mill as a Reel Store Operator, supporting safe and efficient logistics operations within the Reel Store. You’ll work closely with the Reel Store Supervisor and the broader operations team to keep materials flowing smoothly and safely across the mill.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Reel Store Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:
- Competently perform the forklift operations including; Truck Loading and unloading, Container Loading and unloading,
- Operational checks of Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV’s)
- Monitor production’s needs to ensure product is supplied as required and within specification
- Accurate computer data entry to record the details and movement of product
- Ensure loads are restrained correctly as per legislation (Chain of Responsibility) and site policies & procedures
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Experience in competently operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work with computerised control systems, ensuring high level of attention to detail, accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure with demonstrated time management and sound decision-making skills
