In this 8‑month contract as Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient and well‑controlled inventory performance across Visy’s Glass operations in QLD. Responsible for managing stock held onsite, you will oversee end‑to‑end inventory control, conduct cycle counts and stocktake, and ensure all inbound and outbound movements are accurately tracked and reconciled. You will utilise SAP/WMS to maintain precise reporting, investigate variances, stock losses and inefficiencies. Your work will directly support operational accuracy, customer requirements and the effectiveness of our broader logistics network.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee end‑to‑end inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishment and smooth inbound/outbound coordination.
- Conduct cycle counts, full stocktakes and variance investigations, ensuring all discrepancies are reconciled.
- Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of inventory movements across warehousing, transport and customer requirements.
- Utilise internal systems to generate stock‑on‑hand reports and provide accurate data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements to minimise stock losses and optimise storage and space utilisation.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse teams, transport teams and leadership across QLD Glass operations.
What You Will Bring:
- Previous Inventory Management or Stock Control experience within Warehousing and Logistics.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced Warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of WMS systems & SAP experience.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret trends and identify discrepancies.
- Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and accuracy.
