About the Opportunity
This role is a critical part of the Plant Leadership Team at Visy Plastics Ingleburn, responsible for driving effective planning, forecasting and customer service outcomes to support safe, efficient and profitable operations.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll lead site planning and raw material management while working closely with Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure customer commitments are met and operational constraints are managed. You’ll take ownership of forecasting accuracy, production planning, resin management and RCCP, ensuring the right balance between service, cost and efficiency.
You’ll also lead a small team, drive continuous improvement across planning and customer service processes, and work closely with other planners across the Plastics division to support inter-site coordination, mould sharing and best practice planning.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in planning, forecasting or supply chain within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of production planning, RCCP and demand forecasting
- Experience managing raw material planning and inventory optimisation
- Ability to balance customer service outcomes with plant efficiency
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with advanced spreadsheet skills
- Confidence influencing stakeholders across production, sales and supply chain
- Experience leading or mentoring team members
- APICS qualification or equivalent planning experience
- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
- Background in plastics, packaging or FMCG manufacturing
