About the role
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, in this safety-focused role you’ll lead driver training and compliance across Victoria. This includes delivering training, conducting assessments, managing documentation, and building strong relationships with internal logistics managers and drivers. Your focus is on improving skills, promoting safe practices, and ensuring consistent standards to support operational excellence.

What you will do:
• Conduct driver assessments and identify training needs
• Develop and deliver training programs to Visy standards
• Record all training and assessments in the Learning Management System
• Manage training schedules, including refresher sessions
• Continuously assess driver skills and CoR awareness
• Promote safe practices for vehicles, equipment, and work systems
• Support incident investigations with the operations team
• Collaborate with Logistics Management, Fleet Controllers, Compliance, and Recruitment
• Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, compliance reporting, and maintaining system accuracy

What you will bring:
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, plus TLIF0005 & TLIF0006 (Fatigue Management)
• Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence with extensive driving experience
• Strong knowledge of road rules, HVNL, and Chain of Responsibility
• Solid understanding of OH&S legislation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Calm, patient approach and ability to work under pressure
