As the Workshop Fitter at Visy’s Beverage Can Plant in Yatala, you will play a key role in keeping our production operations running reliably. You’ll use your mechanical expertise to support equipment performance, contribute to continuous improvement, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high‑performing manufacturing environment.
- Shift Details: Day Shift, Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
- Pay Details: $50p/hr + OT
What you’ll do:
- Repairing, fabricating and modifying mechanical components for machines and equipment
- Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Day to day monitoring of services on site
- Reporting and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruptions and improve efficiency
What you will bring to the team:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
