Role Details: Gibson Island Depot, reporting to State Manager.
What you'll do:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the day-to-day activities of all operational functions of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining strict cost controls.
- Service Delivery: Meet service levels for contracts, and resolve issues within agreed timeframes.
- Driver Management: Ensure driver training, compliance with systems, and maintain staff levels and performance through KPIs.
- Fleet Management: Maintain vehicle standards, scheduled maintenance, and comply with procurement processes.
- Cost Management: Stay within budget for repairs, labour, and route efficiencies, and develop profit improvement plans.
- Health, Safety & Environment: Comply with safety policies, address non-compliance, and assist with operational issue resolution.
What You Will Bring:
- HR License required as a minimum
- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software is an advantage.
