As our Sustainability Manager, you’ll lead initiatives that reduce environmental impact, drive innovation in packaging, and help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. What you'll do:
- Shape Strategy: Develop and deliver a company-wide sustainability roadmap aligned with business goals, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Partnership: Advise and collaborate with customers on packaging sustainability performance, including recyclability, carbon footprint, and material efficiency.
- Lifecycle Leadership: Oversee product lifecycle assessments and produce clear, customer-facing sustainability documentation.
- Ensure Integrity: Manage green claims compliance to guarantee accuracy and transparency in product and marketing sustainability statements.
- Stay Ahead: Monitor and interpret emerging packaging policies (APCO, EPR, design-for-recycling) and translate implications for product development and compliance.
- Drive Reporting: Lead sustainability reporting across APCO submissions, ESG disclosures, and emissions reduction progress.
- Communicate Impact: Create compelling sustainability communications through reports, case studies, and stakeholder engagement.
What You Will Bring:
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing sustainability.
• Expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and interpreting GHG emissions data.
• Knowledge of APCO guidelines, EPR legislation, and packaging reforms.
• Skilled in ESG reporting and sustainability communications.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging customers and internal teams.
