Role Details:
Join our state-of-the-art Visy Board facility in Truganina as a Purchasing Officer, supporting the maintenance and engineering teams with end-to-end procurement, vendor management and maintenance administration. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role that ensures spare parts and consumables are sourced efficiently, systems are optimised, and plant operations run smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate purchasing for spare parts, materials and consumables.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, master data and ERP records.
- Source parts locally and internationally, including handling logistics and customs.
- Build & maintain vendor relationships and monitor performance.
- Negotiate pricing and track cost savings to achieve best value for money.
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, reporting and KPI tracking.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in purchasing or supply chain coordination within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Forklift licence (advantageous).
