About the Role
Join Visy’s Finance team in Southbank as a Planning & Strategy Analyst. In this key role you’ll support strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis across the Group.
You’ll coordinate and consolidate long-term planning (Annual Budgets, 5-Year Plans, network modelling), short-term forecasts (Full Year Forecasts, 18-month rolling forecasts), and deliver insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial insights and financial modelling to support strategic projects and new business opportunities.
- Analyse margins and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for profit improvement.
- Development and optimisation of reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and Access.
- Deliver and provide regular reports across logistics, profitability, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine business processes and systems that drive efficiency and growth.
- Maintain compliance with Visy’s Pricing Policy and relevant consumer protection legislation.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success as a Commercial Analyst in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in data analytics and presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI and Access highly regarded.
