Location: Based in Forrestfield
Hours: Minimum shift of 8 hours with regular overtime
What you'll do:
• Operations Terberg yard truck facilitating the pre-loading of Single trailers and Pocket Road Trains
• Undertaking thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your loads are restrained meeting roadworthy and compliance laws.
• Preparation to assist in timely and efficient delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Liaising with planning teams to deliver pro-active outcomes.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
• A valid HC or MC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
• MSIC card – Highly desirable
• Experience operating Tautliners, Prairie, flatbeds, extendable trailers.
• Sound knowledge of the Perth metro area
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
• Have excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
