Routes: Running to various locations around Perth WA
Locations: Based in Forrestfield
Hours: Minimum shift of 8 hours with regular overtime
What you'll do:
- Operation of Single Trailers and Pocket Road Trains
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid HC or MC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
- MSIC card – Highly desirable
- Experience operating Tautliners, Prairie, flatbeds, extendable trailers.
- Sound knowledge of the Perth metro area
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Have excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
