Routes: Running to various locations around Perth WA
Locations: Based in Forrestfield
Hours: 8-hour shifts and regular OT with allowances and penalties
Sign on bonus: Earn $2,500 simply for joining the team
What you'll do:
• Operation of Single Trailers and Pocket Road Trains
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
• A valid HC or MC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
• MSIC card – Highly desirable
• Experience operating Tautliners, Prairie, flatbeds, extendable trailers.
• Sound knowledge of the Perth metro area
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Part of the pre-employment process, you’ll be required to successfully complete the Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
