The opportunity:
We’re seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our Truganina facility. This is a permanent role, working Monday to Wednesday from 6am – 6pm, based on a 34 hour week. As a Machine Operator at Visy, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting machinery as part of a small collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial machinery across the production line
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and quality
- Monitor machine performance and resolve any operational issues
- Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and meet deadlines
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
- Previous experience with machinery, mechanical systems, or manufacturing environments
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
- Good communication skills and a team player
