As a Shift Electrician based in Smithfield, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to a safe and compliant working environment
- Conducting preventative, reactive and planned maintenance of all plant and equipment.
- Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems
- Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility
- An understanding of PLC systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
What you will bring to the team:
- A completed 4-year apprenticeship, coupled with an A Grade Electrical License.
- 3 - 5+ years of FMCG or Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume industrial environment
- A background in fault finding with PLC’s
- Good communication and reporting skills and strong commitment to safety & quality
