Your Role:
As a key player in our Maintenance Team, you’ll ensure seamless operations by keeping our cutting-edge machinery in peak condition. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate & Troubleshoot: Operate and Support Maintenance equipment efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and scheduled maintenance to optimise machine performance.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Identifying mechanical issues and delivering precise, effective solutions.
- Overhauls and Stock: Performing machinery overhauls and maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Data Management: Accurately recording and updating production & maintenance logs.
- Safety First: Upholding Visy’s Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
What You’ll Bring:
- Qualifications: Mechanical Trade Certificate, Plant Mechanic or similar.
- Experience: Proven expertise in high-speed manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision troubleshooting.
- Operating Expertise: Experience working on production lines and operating complex FMCG Machinery.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
