What You’ll Do
As a Fitter Operator, you’ll:
- Operate and maintain high-tech equipment across various stages of beverage can production.
- Perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Undertake preventative and reactive maintenance of auxiliary machinery.
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team to achieve production targets.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade).
- At least 5 years’ experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off).
