You will be part of a high performing production team responsible for the of upkeep of plant and equipment of the production line.  You will work in a key role part of the broader team responsible for the ongoing production, supporting fixed plant maintenance of our state-of-the-art food can production line.  

Roster: 7 day Fortnight Day Shift and then rotates to 7 day Fortnight Night Shift - 12 hour shifts

Based in Coburg, Victoria, the Maintenance Electrician will report into the Plant Manager.

  • Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Conduct preventative & Reactive maintenance of all plant and equipment.
  • Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems.
  • Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility.
  • 7 day fortnights – 7 days of dayshift and then rotate 7 days of night shift – Overtime paid at double time

What You Will Bring: 

  • Trade Qualified Electrician (A Grade Electrical License)
  • Minimum 2 years industrial background and experience
  • PLC experience
  • Highly focused on process and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
