We have an exciting apprenticeship opening for a confident and enthusiastic person wanting to gain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, and work at our dynamic, fast paced manufacturing plant based in Penrith.
This is a day shift position, and during your apprenticeship you will receive on the job training, guidance, and mentoring from maintenance leaders and experienced electricians, theory support, and the flexibility to attend TAFE one day a week. In addition, you will receive a base wage, allowances, potential overtime, all tools and equipment, uniforms, and gain all the required skills and experience to become trade qualified.
Fixed term contract, 35 hours per week, 9-day fortnight.
- Following apprenticeship training agreements proactively with a strong emphasis on learning
- Becoming actively involved within the electrical department
- Assist electricians perform electrical tasks such as installations, breakdowns, and maintenance whilst proactively trouble shooting
- Strive to acquire the skills necessary to work autonomously
- Performing other duties and projects as assigned
