Role details:
Reporting to the AU Finance Manager, this position is required to provide financial business partnering support to the Global Logistics AU management team to achieve growth objectives. Due to the fast growth of the business, we are now looking for a Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join the team Based in either Epping / Clayton with WFH flexibility, you will be an integral member of the Global Logistics Finance team, responsible for all facets of the accounting and financial functions while providing timely management & financial information to the.
What you’ll do:
As such you’ll prepare, analyse and report the financials, while providing commercial and financial support. Stride for continuous system and business process improvements. The position's primary responsibilities include completion of monthly general ledger reconciliations. Assisting the management in completion of the annual budget process, full year forecasts and completing mid-month estimates, while working collaboratively with divisional stakeholders to deliver best practice processes to drive financial performance across the group.
Further to that you will be involved with but not limited to:
· Monthly financial close & governance processes
· Continuous monitoring & reporting of the Global Logistics financial position against targets
· Continuous improvement agendas including the use of technology & systems to streamline operating model
· Preparation of forecasts & budgets in line with the financial planning framework
What you will bring to the team:
You will have a CA/CPA qualification or international equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Financing / Accounting roles. You would describe yourself as a quick learner, someone who is a problem solver with a great eye for detail. You’re an initiative-taking, proactive and organized person with a real ‘Can Do’ attitude. You enjoy a fast-paced working environment and can work well under pressure. You are a great communicator, enabling you to form strong relationships with stakeholders on all levels. You will be tech savvy, with advanced Excel skills and SAP experience would be advantageous.
