Role Details:
Based in Penrith and reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Process Control Engineer will manage the Process Control equipment at the Sydney Plant, working closely with Electrical equipment. This role provides technical support to electricians and assumes the responsibilities of the Process Control Manager during their absence.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and manage all plant electronics, including PLC and Process Control equipment.
- Work with LV & HV distribution systems and coordinate electrical maintenance.
- Design and implement engineering projects for plant upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure plant downtime due to Process Control/Electrical issues is minimised.
- Provide technical support to electricians to enhance safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
- Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineer with solid years of experience.
- Proven experience in managing capital projects.
- Maintenance experience in electrical and electronic components.
- Proficiency in reading, analysing, and creating electrical or electronic drawings.
- Experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, BECKHOFF) and SCADA systems (AVEVA Citect, Siemens WinCC).
