To support Visy’s Global Forwarding growth, we’re seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to provide exceptional service to customers, managing their expectations, and business goals. Reporting to the National Customer Service Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in Import & Export Freight Forwarding to ensure the seamless support and delivery of customer goods. What you will do:
- Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end shipment lifecycle
- Act as a point of contact for general inquiries regarding quotes, bookings, new orders, and status updates
- Respond to calls and emails from customers in a timely and professional manner including management of complaints and service enquiries
- Arrange new customer onboarding process to be coordinated with sales
- Maintain and build strong internal and external relationships as well as new and existing customers
- Communicate and inform all relevant parties of changes, delays to orders, shipment status, and expectations
- Ensure timely receipt of shipping documents, processed goods, and billing information
- Ensure rates, profit, and margins are aligned with business expectations
- Maintain accurate records through CargoWise and internal database systems
- Wider administrative duties, including the preparation and management of reports, data entry, and system integrity
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding industry or International Freight operations is a must
- Previous Customer Service experience in Air & Sea Freight
- Proficiency in CargoWise, and TMS Software
- Strong Excel knowledge (Pivot tables/Formulas)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical and data driven mindset
