Role Details:
Available Positions: Multiple opportunities for MC, HC & HR Drivers.
Locations: Various Visy Sites Across Brisbane
Hours: Flexible Shift Options (Optional Overtime) + No weekend work required!
What you'll do:
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian experience driving Trucks with experience in a similar role a huge advantage.
- Valid and Current MC, HC or HR Australian License
- Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
- Sound knowledge of the QLD Metro and Regional areas or interstate routes.
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history & State based Driver History report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Strong knowledge of Mass Management TMA requirements.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
