Role Details
Location: Smithfield
Shift Pattern: Rotating roster, including day and night shifts (6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality and efficient production flow.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production.
- Perform complex mechanical tasks, including component change-outs and fault rectifications.
- Monitor equipment to meet quality standards and optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
What You Will Bring
- Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-speed production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform complex mechanical tasks.
- Technical trade qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to meet production targets while working under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
