Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, recycling, and remanufacturing. As Australia’s largest recycler, our extensive network of recycling operations is integrated with our manufacturing sites. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.
- Location: Springvale, VIC
- Reporting to: Springvale Site Manager
- Key Information: Lead and support a team, ensure safety compliance, drive continuous improvement, and achieve operational KPIs.
What You'll Do
- Oversee OHS&E for employees and visitors.
- Drive operational efficiency in line with KPIs and budget.
- Implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and support to the production team.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.
What You Will Bring:
- At least 3 -5 years of experience leading a team.
- Previous manufacturing experience or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ambitious and self-driven.
