The opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Visy Logistics team based out of our site, in Penrose, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role, working Mon to Fri, on the PM shift (2pm to 11pm). Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, as a Team Leader you will be responsible for the safe and compliant supervision of all warehousing activities. Other duties include but not limited to:
- Daily hands-on supervision and management of Forklift Operators and Store people.
- Responsible for the fleet allocation and execution of customer deliveries, production transfers, packaging shuttles.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, and promote a safe and positive work environment.
- Use of Forklift and counter balance.
What you will bring to the team:
- 3 years’ experience in local transport and warehouse operations.
- Experience in people management and supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with SAP and warehousing management systems.
- Forklift and Counterbalance License.
