The opportunity:
We are currently offering an opportunity for a skilled Forklift Operator to become an integral part of our continuous production team located in South Brisbane.
The role will be under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor and involves a 5-week rotating shift schedule spanning 7 days. The shifts are 35 hours weekly, with timings rotating between 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am.
The primary duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance with all Work, Safety & Environment policies and procedures.
- Responding to palletiser alarms and performing necessary troubleshooting.
- Transporting palletised finished goods to designated storage areas using a forklift.
- Operating RF scanners and tablets.
- Conducting regular quality inspections.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the facility.
What you will bring to the team:
- A valid forklift ticket.
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift working within a fast-paced environment.
- RF scanning/SAP experience highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal communication, a strong safety focus, and a self-driven attitude is a must.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift roster.
