The opportunity:
Visy Retail Services is a leading supplier & distributor of major brand hardware & retail products throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and a strategic partner to one of Australasia’s largest retailers, Bunnings.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager - NSW and working as part of a high achieving and experienced team, your key responsibilities will include:
The Role:
- Conduct cycle counts and analyze data to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) location accuracy of 98% or higher.
- Participate in weekly meetings to review inventory record accuracy and propose improvements.
- Booking of inbound containers and schedule prioritization of OOS to achieve high delivered in full
- Address discrepancies between stock on hand and records, implementing operational enhancements as needed.
- Optimize operational procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor picking team performance and support the DC Supervisor in tracking against company standards.
- Handle sales inquiries, customer claims, and purchase orders promptly and professionally.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers, both internal and external.
- Uphold workplace health and safety standards and adhere to VRS life-saving rules.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment.
- Sage and High Jump – WMS (advantageous)
