The opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our Visy Logistics team based out of our site, in Wiri, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role, working Mon to Fri, on the PM shift (5pm start). Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, as a Class 5 Driver you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and successful collection and delivery of goods from both internal and external customers across Auckland. Other duties include but not limited to:
- Maintaining a professional image on the road and with customers.
- Operating a modern fleet of class 5 vehicles.
- Ensuring load is fully compliant with legal requirements and quality standards.
- Comply with all Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility policies and regulations.
- Compliance with Standard Work Practices.
What you will bring to the team:
- You will hold a clean and valid Class 5 truck licence.
- A minimum of three years’ experience operating Class 5 truck is essential and container experience is highly desirable.
- Pride in the presentation and operation of trucks and equipment.
- A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
