The opportunity

Based in Melbourne or Sydney the role serves to bring to life Visy Logistics' brand presence in the market, positioning the company as a leading provider of comprehensive logistics solutions. This delivers exceptional value and service to clients, thereby solidifying Visy Logistics' reputation as a trusted and indispensable partner in the industry.

The role of the Business Development Manager at Visy Logistics is pivotal in advancing the company's growth strategy with a tailored focus on Non-Alcoholic Beverages. This position strategically identifies and pursues new business opportunities within the Beverage vertical, aligning closely with Visy Logistics' overarching growth strategy and "where to play" initiatives.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities within the Beverages (Non-Alcoholic) Vertical.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set for the Non-Alcoholic Beverage vertical.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and industry partners.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports on business development activities, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies and initiatives to drive business growth within the Non-Alcoholic Beverage vertical.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions and services.

 

 

To be considered you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related Discipline or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a similar role within sales or logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing sales growth pipelines, converting leads into sales, and managing large tender responses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with sales platforms preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the AU region if required
