The Opportunity:
As an experienced Shift Electrician, reporting to the Victorian Electrical, Automation and Controls Manager you will provide support, leadership and guide the team providing electrical maintenance services to our busy production team based at our Coolaroo plant.
The Role:
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overlook and supervise daily operations of the electrical department.
- Diagnose and fault find a variety of electrical and automation equipment
- Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment minimising downtime.
- Be able to react quickly to breakdowns.
- Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.
- Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.
What you will bring to the team:
- Hold a current unrestricted A Class Electrical License
- Have supervisory leadership experience.
- Ability to work within a team
- Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s, Drives and HMI’s
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
- Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
