The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a high performing team responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment. This facility runs a rotating shift roster. Overtime is usually available for those who wish to work additional hours.
You will work in a high performing team responsible for the ongoing maintenance, performance, and safety, supporting PLC controlled systems, a variety of packaging plant and some of the latest servo-controlled Corrugated and Converting Machines.
- Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment
- Conduct preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment
- Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems
- Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility
What you will bring to the team:
- A background in electrical applications and manufacturing process experience
- Demonstrate an ability to read electrical schematics/drawings together with PLC & VSD experience
- You’re analytical and keenly focussed on process and continuous improvement
- Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day
