The Opportunity:

In this highly diversified role, you will have to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and “deep-dive” into the market’s dynamics and clearly understand customer’s needs and operational capability.

The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior position within the Sales & Business Development team where you will develop and drive appropriate sales plans, short and longer-term strategies, forecasts, and processes to help improve service levels from production plants to customers. Key to your success, will be compliance to budgets and ensuring the needs and expectations of both plant and customer are clearly articulated.

In addition to the above but not limited to you will:

  • Deliver accurate customer forecasting and drive customer outcomes within the agreed timeframe
  • Meet with customers regularly to better meet operational and customer KPI’s
  • Drive Aged stock management within pre-agreed levels
  • Develop and execute Sales and Business Development team budget and full year forecasting process
  • Manage and negotiate customer contracts, ensuring the engagement of all key stakeholders  

About You:

  • Solid prior experience in B2B Sales Management within major manufacturing business/packaging/FMCG industry
  • Exposure to make to order and make to forecast manufacturing business is desirable
  • You possess good project management, documentation and project planning skills 
  • Highly self-motivated and as a natural leader you are assertive and not afraid to make a decision
  • Excellent communication skills to manage both internal and external relationships
