As Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plastic sorting facility during your shift. You’ll lead a team to deliver key operational metrics across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP), while fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead and nurture a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance and proactive hazard management.
- Manage shift operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Prioritise tasks to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop team capability through effective coaching, communication, and performance management.
- Collaborate across shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations and reporting.
- Support site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Actively participate in divisional efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.
- Leading a team of between 20 25 members.
What you will bring to the team:
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical understanding of mechanical systems and production processes.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts and adapt to changing site needs.
- Forklift and front-end loader license (desirable).
