The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a dynamic Global Trainer to join our Centralised Operations Teams. If you’re passionate about learning and development, process excellence, and driving capability advancement across global teams, this is your opportunity to lead transformational training initiatives that shape the future of logistics.
As the Global Trainer, you will design, deliver, and manage operational and soft-skills training programs for multinational teams across Visy Logistics. You will work closely with national leaders, global teams, and our centres of excellence to create structured learning pathways that improve systems usage, operational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging learning programs tailored to global teams
- Deliver high-quality live and virtual training sessions including train-the-trainer across national teams
- Maintain training materials and digital learning content to ensure consistency and accessibility
- Develop and manage digital training materials via LMS, SharePoint, and other platforms
- Evaluate training effectiveness through pre/post assessments and performance metrics
- Drive a culture of continuous learning through mentoring, adaptive learning, and peer-to-peer sharing
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure training aligns with strategic objectives
About You:
You are an experienced training professional with a strong background in logistics or freight forwarding. You’re confident engaging diverse audiences, working cross-functionally, and using modern learning tools to deliver impactful training experiences.
- 3+ years in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding industry
- Background in coaching, leadership development, or organizational change management
- Hands-on experience with logistics related systems including CargoWise, Salesforce
- Proven success in delivering technical and soft skills training
- Strong digital literacy with LMS, e-learning, microlearning tools
- Ability to analyse training ROI and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Certifications in Training & Development, Instructional Design or Adult Learning (Desired)
- Background in change management or leadership development
