The Role:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our manufacturing plant in O’Connor. You will be part of our reliability team, supporting production of a busy plant, working rotating day and afternoon shift every 2 weeks.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime.
- Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.
- Assist in mechanical/electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs.
- PLC experience with Siemens and or Allen Bradley.
- Update and maintain data records on works carried out.
- Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Hold a current unrestricted A Class Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years industrial background and experience.
- Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s, Drives and HMI’s
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
- Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
