Service Delivery Representative

The Opportunity:

Every year we collect, receive and sort nearly 2 million tonnes of paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, steel and aluminium from Australian and New Zealand households, businesses, and schools, recovering the greatest amount of material we can at our MRFs and sorting facilities.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering improvements in customer service through the effective resolution of escalated customer issues. Your day-to-day will involve generating new business while servicing the needs of repeat customers by resolving any issues and providing excellent customer service.

You will be an energetic person looking to make a move into an office-based role. You must be passionate about building strong relationships and ensuring excellence in customer experience.  

No two days are the same!

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Receiving calls, checking e-mails, and customer escalations
  • Actioning and resolving service requests, investigating repeated service failures with the aim of eliminating them
  • Generating sales leads and direct sales to ensure targets are met
  • Day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining the accuracy of the database
  • Complying with OHS&E policies and procedures
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • There will be a requirement in this role to work weekly rostered shifts.
    • 8 am – 5 pm

  • Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • A passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiencies
  • Previous experience in customer service (highly desirable)
  • Enthusiasm to learn and work hard!
  • Desirable Salesforce and CRM experience
