Role Details
Based at Shepparton, you’ll lead all aspects of site and Product quality, food safety and manufacturing compliance. You’ll embed a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring, managing key quality programs and ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
You’ll be the technical lead connecting the site, customers, suppliers and regulators—driving resolution of issues, leading investigations, and implementing corrective actions quickly. This role is central to improving product integrity, operational performance and embedding robust systems that lift site capability.
This role also has growth potential for the right individual with Production and Technical Experience
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in a quality leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong skills in coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, HACCP, FSSC and customer standards
- Experience managing audits, customer complaints and vendor quality issues
- Strong RCA, error-proofing and problem-solving capability
- High proficiency with quality systems (SFOL, OFS/Buffey, SAP, MS Office)
- Values aligned to Visy and ability to build strong internal/external relationships
- Qualifications in Quality Management or similar
- Technical capability adaptable to complex manufacturing environments
