The Role
To fulfill the business needs, we are seeking Credit Controller to join the Visy Shared Services department.
This will be a full-time position from Monday-Friday, based in Essendon Fields with hybrid working arrangements for the suitable incumbents, and genuine career advancement opportunities.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
External stakeholder engagement via email and phone
Managing a high portfolio of accounts and forming strong relationships with our key internal stakeholders including Sales & Customer Service to deliver outstanding customer support.
Manage debtors accounts within agreed KPIs and targets
Negotiating and managing payment arrangements
Investigating payment discrepancies
Account reconciliations and proactively identify potential risk
Reviewing credit applications and accessing risk
Any additional duties as delegated by the Credit Manager
What we are looking for:
A minimum 2 years’ minimum hands on experience in Credit Controller or similar roles
Building a strong working relationship with all external and internal stakeholders
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail and Can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team
Knowledge on credit risk management
Ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders
A good understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
SAP experience desirable but not required
