We are continually driving hazard identification, elimination / reduction of risk, implementation and maintaining the systems and tools to identify and control safety & environmental risks.
We're proud of all the paper we produce, in particular our recycled paper. That's because, when we say it's recycled, we mean it! At Reservoir, our paper produced is 100% recycled.
Reporting to and working closely with the Reliability Manager and as part of the maintenance team, you will be tasked with conducting inspections and rounds, work order planning and assignment, shutdown planning and scheduling, preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
Further to this, additional key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Directly support the operating units to achieve operational KPIs
Planning and scheduling maintenance works and shutdowns through CMMS (computer maintenance management system)
Investigate failures using Root Cause Analysis techniques, design and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
Initiate actions to improve quality and productivity using the Visy continuous improvement systems
Promote and adhere to the requirements of the Visy Quality Policy / Quality Management System and the requirements of the Visy OH&S and Environmental Policies
Responsible for 24/7 operations and able to participate with other engineers on an on-call roster
What you will bring to the team:
A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
Excellent communication with strong analytical skills, a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously
Resilience with a proactive confident approach, enthusiasm, and an ability to work in a team environment.
A willingness and ability to learn and absorb information and take accountability for tasks
Industry experience within a heavy manufacturing or processing environment.
