An exciting new opportunity is available within Visy's Pulp & Paper Division for a Senior Condition Monitoring Engineer to join the team at our State-of-the-Art Paper Mill in Tumut. In this role you will proactively lead your team and share your extensive experience to develop and mentor your team to work safety, trouble shoot, find solutions and work on continuous improvement initiatives, to stay that one step ahead to juggle multiple tasks to ensure we meet our 24/7 production demands.
Condition Monitoring is pivotal to our maintenance activity by providing valuable input to the maintenance team regarding the current condition of production equipment to enable the best possible decision making. You will have a minimum of 5 years technical knowledge and experience in both condition monitoring and lubrication to provide accurate and prompt plant condition information. This knowledge is to include equipment and procedure modifications to improve efficiency and work on deficiencies where failures occur.
Your ability to work in a fast paced pressurised environment, coupled with your strong leadership skills, high attention to detail, analytical thinking style and hands on approach, will see you thrive, working on both preventative tasks and breakdowns. Working closely with our operations and maintenance team your ability to build strong relationship and communicate effectively is key to your success.
What You Need:
Diploma or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Fitter trade background
5 years’ minimum experience within industrial maintenance in a continuous process environment (preferably within the Paper and Pulp, Aluminum, Steel, Mining, FMCG, Heavy industries)
Demonstrated leadership experience leading multi-disciplined teams
Advanced knowledge and experience in VA practices and lubrication
Good data capturing and analysis
Competent and experienced using CMMS, Microsoft Office and ERP systems

This plant operates on a 24/7 day basis and you will need to be flexible to work additional hours as required including being on our call out roster.
