Due to increased growth and demand for the installation and servicing of equipment, an opportunity exists for a qualified, experienced, and motivated Field Service Technician to join our technical team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity within our organisation to drive future growth and performance across the business, servicing our customers in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial goods manufacturers.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, comes up to speed quickly and has an inquisitive mind to learn and develop. Someone who wants to repair and fix our equipment and proactively find solutions to improve the machine performance and reliability for our customers.

You will work independently and as part of a small team to attend maintenance calls, servicing and breakdowns and once up to speed, move up to installations too!


With your customer service focus and drive for results, you will:                                       

  • Provide and carry out scheduled routine maintenance of equipment

  • Respond to breakdowns and support equipment installations, including training and reporting    

  • Attending sites and conducting diagnostics and fault finding

  • Develop and implement new product system modifications.

  • Recording accurate information relating to site visits, unit replacement, defective parts and equipment repairs

  • Proactively communicate with and provide support to the National Projects team as required

  • Completing other tasks assigned to you to complete.


What you need to succeed:

  • A current drivers licence

  • Electrical/Fitter Turner trade (electronics, mechanical, electrical engineering)

  • 2-3 years customer facing service technician/maintenance experience

  • Strong computer skills Microsoft office and Android operating systems

  • Technical aptitude/diagnostic skills

  • High level of communication skills including written and verbal

  • Able to commit to a rotating on call roster.

  • Availability for occasional interstate and overnight work.
