Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and sourcing new businesses opportunities, while overseeing stock control and the day-to-day activities of a busy, seasonal depot.
You will be a personable, autonomous self-starter dedicated to driving sustainable business growth, while working closely with the Sales team in North QLD, Depot Managers and warehouse and administration teams.
The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Achieve sales targets through means of growing existing clients and generating new business
Develop timely and accurate forecasts of customer requirements
Work closely with sales and customer service teams to identify potential growth opportunities
Utilise knowledge of the market, region and business to develop unique sales strategies
Managing stock control to ensure consistent and reliable delivery and service for customers
Complying with OHS&E policies and procedures at all times
What you will bring to the team:
Experience in Sales and Account management
Working knowledge of tools such as email, word and excel; SAP desired but not necessary
Autonomous with excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver
Strong, personable communicator with exceptional negotiation and relationship building capability
Flexibility to be on call some weekends if necessary due to the seasonal nature of the role
