The Opportunity:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a 12 month maternity leave contract in Ingleburn for an experienced and proactive customer service professional to join our dedicated team. You will be passionate about customer service and will use your exceptional communication skills to build strong working relationships, ensuring both our internal and external customers receive a high quality service that exceeds expectations and provides cost optimisation to both our business and theirs.

Reporting to the Production Planning Manager you will be part of a small team so your flexibility, energy, team focus, initiative, drive, attention to detail and proven ability to meet tight deadlines through comprehensive product knowledge, will see you excel in providing an excellent customer experience promoting our products and also provide technical support as required.

Your key areas you will be responsible for will be but not limited to:

  • Answering Inbound calls system in a professional and timely manner;
  • Fast and accurate processing of orders received with correct lead-times;
  • Ensure we meet our SLA and maintain service excellence to customers;
  • Demonstrate high level product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Creating and maintaining material codes and purchase orders;
  • Build customer and business relationships over the phone;
  • Manage and promptly respond to all email enquiries, including deliveries and follow up where required
  • Contribute new ideas and process improvement;
  • Adhoc administration duties as required including stocktakes and general office management;
  • Ensuring you adhere to each site's safety, health and environment policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role you have demonstrated skills in improving functional processes, a strong team work ethic and the ability to think on your feet to solve issues that arise. Your colleagues describe you as a self-starter who is professional with strong organisational and telephone skills. You will be proficient with MS Word, Excel and SAP (advantageous).  Ideally you will have experience working within a manufacturing environment where cross functional relationships are formed with sales and marketing, logistics, operations transport and/or despatch would be viewed favourably.

Being process oriented and having an eye for detail, you'll enjoy working within a continuous improvement culture and actively participate in discussions on how we can take a fresh approach to service.

The business hours of operation will be 8.00am to 4.00pm – Monday to Friday and a current driver’s licence is required.
