You can contribute to our future success in the role of regional Store Supervisor whereby you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of multiple Visy Pulp & Paper Stores in Victoria.
Reporting to the National Purchasing Manager for Pulp and Paper and based at our Coolaroo plant, you will be responsible for inventory management across the stores. You must have a passion for coordination and continuous improvement of current systems and processes as well as great leadership to further develop your team.
This is a truly dynamic role where you get to be involved in implementing a new Asset Management System to meet the needs of operations and internal customers.
The main responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate 6-monthly cycle stocktakes
Review all inventory items to ensure items are stocked where needed
Maintain Store Documentation- report on all trackable items and Over Due Purchase Orders
Managing reconciliation of invoices/expediting acknowledgment orders
Manage the rationalisation of sites inventory to reduce working capital, whilst ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained to allow operation continuity
Manage the coordination of Transportation
What you will bring to succeed:
Tertiary qualified with solid experience in Warehousing and/or Inventory Control within the manufacturing industry will be a huge advantage!
Sound knowledge and understanding of HSE
The ability to stay organised and being able prioritise in a busy, fast paced environment
You are a passionate self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment
Outstanding relationship building, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
