Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will support our existing team across a range of tasks such as reviewing leave accruals, set ups within SAP, shift review and other requests related to our annual payroll audit. The role will require a confident payroll professional who is flexible in their approach and can adjust their focus as things change. You will also have a keen eye and passion for process improvement in line with a wider strategic framework.
The key responsibilities in this role will be:
Review all PS group Codes under each Payroll area & Sites with attention to the current EBA
Review all Work Contracts (Leave codes) in line with accruals for all leave types
Ensure Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly payroll areas are reviewed for these codes
Ensuring compliance with all statutory & regulatory requirements
Administration within SAP in line with legislative requirements
What you will bring to succeed:
Sound knowledge of SAP is a must
Experience within a medium to large payroll environment with solid understanding of complex payroll processes eg. Weekly/fortnightly/monthly cycles across multiple sites
Ability to interpret awards, EBA’s, legislation and internal policies
You are a passionate self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment
Outstanding relationship building, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
