You will be in charge of managing overall operations including labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures.
In this pivotal role, you will serve as a company representative on regulatory issues and enhance operational procedures, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management.
Reporting to the General Manager (Serviced Equipment) you will assist with business processes and enhance management reporting. With a continues improvement mindset, you will look for opportunities to expand systems, analyse process workflow, employee and space requirements or equipment layout and implement changes accordingly.
Key responsibilities are outlined below but not limited to:
HSE Policy and Procedure:
Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Asset Planning, Utilisation and Optimisation:
Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance as primary contact for all external vendors
Main contact for customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.
Responsible for all aspects of vehicle and heavy equipment rentals
Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses
Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiating corrective actions
We are flexible in terms of location and you could be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.

Tertiary qualified with significant relevant technical experience, you have worked in a manufacturing/corporate environment and are not afraid to get stuck right into it!
