An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic Technical Sales Representative to join our highly successful, collaborative and proactive sales team in VIC. You will be a sales all-rounder with a passion and drive to grow your existing portfolio by identifying and introducing new customers to smash your targets. Your thirst for learning, curiosity and enthusiasm will be utilsed with full training of our technical systems, ongoing support and career development, to offer you the long-term career you have been looking for!
You will manage the Northern suburbs territory and enjoy working autonomously, constantly striving to offer the best customer experience possible with a solutions mindset tailoring to your client’s specific needs, building and maintaining new and existing relationships with key strategic players to maximize sales opportunities.
Recommend, promote and sell Visy Technology Systems products and services with a focus on printing & labelling
Supporting and building strong relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new business
Educating new and existing customers on the features and benefits of our equipment and services
Preparing quotes by studying application requirements, plans and related customer documents
Manage and work closely with key stakeholders including Project Managers and Tech team to ensure all compliance is maintained to meet all laws and regulatory requirements
What you will bring to the team:
Ideally you will have a Bachelor or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or trade related background
Experience in a technical sales role or selling IT systems (advantageous)
A hard-working nature and proactive approach to pursuing sales opportunities
Excellent communication and listening skills with ability to build rapport quickly
Ability to negotiate and close the deal
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with an innovative and forward thinking team
A friendly and competitive team spirit, to continuously meet and exceed your KPI’s and targets
Be able to talk confidently and quickly build trusted relationships
Honest, self-motivated, reliable, driven and highly organised
Excellent time management with a proactive approach
An enthusiastic self-starter who always strives for excellence
Current driver's licence
