Visy Board, a leader within the corrugated Packaging Industry, seeks a self-motivated individual for the position of General Manager Operations, based at our Gepps Cross facility.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Positive customer service skills are essential for success in this role, together with a dedicated work ethic and willingness to learn.  Other attributes required by the successful applicant include

•  ability to work in and nurture a team environment;

•  self motivated;

•  attention to detail;

•  ability to negotiate at all levels;

•  5 years manufacturing experience (preferably within the packaging industry).

The position is responsible for ensuring that both Gepps Cross & Berri sites comply with OHS&E and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and company policy.  The position is also responsible for producing saleable product consistently, the financial performance (setting & achieving budgets), achieving high productivity levels, DIFOT, training and development of employees and the smooth running of the Operations Department.
